REPRESENTATIVE ARTISTIC ENSEMBLE OF THE POLISH ARMY

The Concert Orchestra of the RAEPA began its activities during World War II, mainly performing ceremonial duties. After two decades, it evolved to become the Central Representative Orchestra of the Polish Army. During this period, the orchestra refined its artistic profile, enriched its repertoire, and expanded its instrumentation. In 1989, it was named: The Stanisław Moniuszko Concert Orchestra of the Polish Army. In 2004, it became a part of the Representative Artistic Ensemble of the Polish Army. The orchestra's repertoire includes patriotic and stage programs, classical and entertainment music concerts, and liturgical accompaniments. They frequently collaborate with renowned soloists from both the entertainment and classical music sectors.

For many years, the Concert Orchestra of the RZAWP has participated in thematic concerts and musical broadcasts organized for children and youths by the National Philharmonic in Warsaw. It has also made numerous archival recordings for Polish Radio and Polish Television. Works of Polish and global music have been featured on over 20 albums. For its artistic endeavors, the orchestra has been honored with awards such as the Minister of National Defense Award and the Minister of Culture and Arts Award. Today, the Concert Orchestra of the RZAWP consists of 55 musicians. The representative attire of the artists are stylized uniforms from the era of the Duchy of Warsaw.
