Artists

He came to the world in 2003 in a family of teachers in Tarnobrzeg, a small district town in the Subcarpathia region and grows there. Currently he is studying there in S. Jachowicz-Highschool and the Żeleński-State Conservatory of Music in Cracow. He plays cello and piano from 6 years old. Artistic development since childhood was shaped by Beata Roman, a charismatic cello teacher from Tarnobrzeg. At the age of 10 years, he was in artistic care of an outstanding cello teacher, maestro Henryk Zarzycki (Cracow, Medellin). From then on, he pursues a successful educational path according to innovative pedagogy. Thanks to this method, at the age of 13 he possessed technical skills which equaled many graduates of music studies. At Cracow's Conservatory he learns cello playing under Renata Gąsiorek, and for two years has been under the artistic care of a prominent German cellist, maestro Claus Reichardt.


In the last two years he has participated in several national and international cello competitions. Except for the Dotzauer 2016 competition in Dresden, where he won the second prize, he won all other competitions. He performed as a soloist with symphony and chamber orchestras in Poland and South America, among others with the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice under the baton of F. Paluchowski, with the Tolima Country Symphony Orchestra (Colombia) under the baton of C.A. Zambrano Rodriguez, with the Symphony Orchestra of the Academy of Music in Cracow under the baton of S. Krawczyński. In his artistic output he also has several recitals with piano accompaniment. Since 2015 he is a soloist and concertmaster of the Talent Orchestra at the Krzysztof Penderecki European Center of Music. His program includes cello concerts (C major by J. Haydn, E minor by E. Elgar, A minor by C. Saint-Saëns, E major by D. Shostakovich, Rococo Variations by P. Tchaikovsky) and dozens of cello miniature and virtuosic pieces.


He is a scholarship recipient of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, of the Lesser Poland Scholarship Fund "Sapere auso" and of the Foundation “Pro Musica Bona”. 2017 he was awarded the prize “Joung Poland 2017”.


He plays on contemporary copies of M. Goffriller`s instruments by Cracow violin maker J. Pawlikowski and Zakopian violin maker W. Topa. His greatest passions are cats, travels, foreign languages and mathematics.
