Aleksander Kunach

Aleksander Kunach is an artist gifted with a lyrical tenor voice. He shines both in the operatic repertoire, where he showcases his acting prowess, and in oratorio and cantata performances, as well as in songs. He graduated from the Vocal Department of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw under Professor Jerzy Knetig. He continued his education for two additional years at the Escuela Superior de Musica Reina Sofia in Madrid. Even during his studies, in 2001, he secured a special prize at the 5th Inter-University Polish Song Competition in Warsaw.

Since 2007, Kunach has been collaborating with the Warsaw Chamber Opera. He made his debut there in 2004, taking on the roles of Eumete in Monteverdi’s Il ritorno d’Ulisse in patria and Lucano in The Coronation of Poppea. Since 2010, he has been a regular guest on the stage of the Baltic Opera in Gdańsk. In 2012, he began his collaboration with the Podlasie Opera, where he appeared as Damazy in Moniuszko's The Haunted Manor. He performs extensively both domestically and abroad. Over the course of his career, he has worked with conductors such as Jacek Kaspszyk, Kai Bumann, Paul McCreesh, and Alexander Liebreich.
